what a beautiful day in St. John’s: sunshine. bike ride. hike. icebergs. the ocean. freedom.
we see the rocks
we see the ocean
we see the way in front of us
we see the challenge
we see the distance
we see the proximity
we see the abyss
we see the the sky
but do we realy understand?
i built this bikes at Bike Pirates. about the cruiser: everybody told me, i should let it be and don’t start to work on it, because it’s impossible to find such a thin seat post. well i found one and many pirates told me, that we can’t sell the bike anyway, because it’s to heavy to change the seat post high because it stucks inside. i rode the bike one and a half day and today i sold it for $120 to a girl, which just fell in love with the cruiser and she totally fit the high of the seat. strike. score. what a great success. =D
Yesterday evening i built the freewheel singlespeed bike with support of other pirates up from scratch. and know what: i’m in love. the frame is an awesome good steel frame and its very fast (54-14 transmission. woopwoop) I definitely will ride it untill i leave the city.
great bike ride to the northeast of toronto around the area called “toronto zoo” on saturday. seven hours, 90 to 100 kilometers. good day although the weather wasn’t the nicest.
i had a lot of fun with marisa during the last week. and a loooooot of good food, e.g. vegan chocolate donouts. :)
on my way to the east the winter caught me in Quebec City, a nice town with many old buildings. well, that’s it. :D
